Living Corpse
by Nidhi Agrawal

On the plane of symbolism, “Lingam” is a blazing pillar of resurrection. My eyes fly upward to discover the pinnacle of lingam; there is no priority for Shiva to commence. I descend to find the source of the pillar; there is no superiority for Shiva to stop. He confides in his consort, The Mother Goddess who grips his lingam to emanate love. Without her, the destroyer of illusions is a living corpse.
