Futuristic: for Qi Hong
by Yuan Changming

    You will surely become
    A Zhuanzian butterfly
    Flying above the bushes
    Of memories; you’ll grow

    Into a towering redwood
    Witnessing how clouds
    Come & go with winds
    Just as you may prefer

You will marry Li Lan &
    Live an immortal life
    Of ecstasy in love; you’ll
    Transform into a cyberborg

    With chips encoding
    All your pasts & presents
& you will sooner or later
(Only if you wish or not to)

Get lost as a fragment broken off
    From a larger digital presence
    Where you will settle down
    Within a secret spirited pixel
