Artist's Statement
by Alexandra Rozenman

The focus of my work is exploration of metaphor as a means to construct subtle and engaging psychological narratives. In the tradition of myth and folklore, I conceive metaphors and thread them together into a new and graphic visual language.

I want my art to be like a well-worn military wool blanket that gives you warmth, love and history but with a rough surface.
