On The Good Ship Lollipop (It's a Quick Trip to the Candy Shop)
by Robert Nazarene

  1. The Lord God All-Mommy commanded
  2. me to to let my heart sing with joy, to become:
  3. as if a child.
  1. I turned into Shirley Temple and climbed
  2. way up-up onto Mr. Goldwyn’s tummy
  3. and danced and danced,
  1. up and down, up and down, up and down. Whew!
  2. Mr. Goldwyn became: as if a child, too,
  3. and roared and roared like a great big lion.
  1. I made a million bucks
  2. on that picture. And 10 points on the vig.
  3. It was 1935. He really lapped it up.
